The Elizabeth Ministry is a parish-based outreach that offers “woman to woman” support during all aspects of childbearing to women in special times of motherhood. Elizabeth Ministers are women from various parishes willing to share their own stories and experiences. This program is a parish’s response to needs of women experiencing the the joys and challenges during the child rearing years. The program is grounded in scripture in the relationship between the Blessed Virgin Mary and her cousin Elizabeth (the Visitation passage).

My Child…My Gift - for medically challenged pregnancy & crisis pregnancy counseling
There is a “new kind of crisis pregnancy” which occurs when parents are informed that their unborn baby has a medical problem or a disability by way of a prenatal diagnosis. ‘My Child…My Gift’ is a Catholic peer ministry focused on providing comprehensive and compassionate support for families experiencing such a challenge who choose to carry their unborn child to term.
Trained peer ministers and volunteers are available. They support parents by journeying with them from the diagnosis, through the pregnancy and birth and whatever lies beyond for a period of one year.
