ACTION ALERT: NY Style bill (H-5125 Sub B) moves to the Senate floor for a vote TODAY!

On Wednesday, June 19th, the NY Style bill (H-5125 Sub B) moves to the Senate floor for a vote.  If it clears the full Senate, expect it to be referred back to the House Judiciary Committee because of “cosmetic changes” made in the Senate.  If successful, it will then proceed once again, during the final days of this legislative session, to the full House.  Keep in mind, that a nearly identical version passed the House on March 7.

Please contact the legislator who represents your own district!

There is no doubt that the House and Senate Leadership are quite determined to push this bill through. Unfortunately, both the House and the Senate have worked overtime to gather those to join them, legislators who would otherwise vote against the bill.

It also appears that they are violating their own rules and the assurances and representations they have made both to their constituents and to fellow lawmakers.  And those who have been working some diligently over the past several weeks and months.

We still have time to intervene with state Representatives and state Senators (once again, your own).  We ask that you do that NOW! Let them know that if they do not oppose this extreme abortion bill, then you will oppose them in future primaries and general elections.

If we do not stand together on this extreme abortion bill, we can expect more anti-life related bills coming before the general assembly in 2020-2021.

We have to do all we possibly can to educate ourselves and others on these threats to human life.
