An Advent Message from Bishop Tobin

The Season of Advent is upon us, a time when we prepare for the coming of Christ – at the end of the world and, liturgically, in this Christmas Season. It is a time of waiting, a time of joyful expectation. Of Advent Pope Francis has said: “The time of Advent returns us to the horizon of hope, a hope that does not disappoint because it is founded on the Word of God. This is the horizon that makes for a good journey. Let us rediscover the beauty of being together along the way.”

May the Season of Advent be for all of us a beautiful time of peace and prayer so that we will be prepared to open our hearts to welcome Jesus when he comes.
