A message from Bishop Tobin

On Sunday, January 1, Bishop Thomas J. Tobin will celebrate Mass for the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God in the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul at 1 p.m.

Bishop Tobin and more than 60 clergy from the Roman Catholic Diocese of Providence are adding their voices to the growing number of those urging RIPTA to stop fare increases that are set to go into effect on January 1st.

The season of Advent is a time of hopeful expectation, a season of waiting. But what are we waiting for?...
