Sabina Piorkowski, a sophomore at Rhode Island College and parishioner at St. Joseph Church, Woonsocket, uses a wheelchair due to diastrophic dysplasia, a form of dwarfism that leads to early-onset osteoarthritis. The family will host a fundraiser on October 14 to raise money toward the purchase of a wheelchair-accessible van.
